Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable on the use of all operating equipments and cleaning process.
- Aware on the hygiene and sanitation standards and procedures.
- Aware on the fire and life safety standards procedures.
- Knowledgeable in control flow and supply of operating equipments (chinaware/glassware/silverware/flatware, etc.).
- Maintains inventories and par stock compilation.
- Ensures cleanliness and order of all stewarding stores (labeling, etc.).
- Arranges requisition of par stocks and supplies of stewarding storeroom to ensure efficient items for operation at all times.
- Practices economy of chemical & cleaning supplies, electricity and water whenever possible.
- Observes staff performance/grooming/punctuality.
- Ensures that staff are equipped with the proper knowledge and equipment in order for them to work efficiently.
- Ensures the implementation of safety procedures, hygiene and sanitation according to hotel standards.
- Enforces staff motivation and team building.
- Prepares adequate and appropriate equipment for project F&B needs.
- Ensures that equipment is placed in the correct areas after usage.
- Monitors pest control.
Requirements
- HRM/Management graduate or related course;
- At least 1 year experience in international class hotel in a similar capacity;
- Able to work with the overall administration and operation in Steward department;
- Oral and written fluency in English, with people management skills, systems compliance, delivers company standards;
- Age group 28-35 years old.
